Hey all you card freaks I got two fun update for yall!

FIRST UPDATE!

I've made a Basic TCG Discord Server so we can all chat about and get excited and hyped for creating cards together! I really loved the energy from using the #basictcg hashtag on Twitter and posting in the Forum but I think we can have a nice place where we can all hang out, share ideas, and even maybe play some games!

SECOND UPDATE!

BASIC TCG SET JAM #2 : STELLAR RHYTHMS! is set to launch on AUGUST 9TH and will run until SEPTEMBER 13TH! This Set Jam we'll be working with a much tighter scope with a shared theme, that being lets make a bunch of cards for the setting of Star Central Station - an ancient derelict space station with a small star at its core! As various species and cultures around the universe arrive at it's strangely open ports answering a distress beacon coming from deep within, rebuilding and preserving its ancient halls, creating new homes and communities and exploring what secrets it might hold about the universe before our own. Create Factions, Districts, Events, and much more as we all explore and rebuild Star Central Station together!

My plan with this Jam is to try and build up a new game mode that turns Basic TCG into a cooperative pseudo-worldbuilding and city building game, but of course, that's just one avenue to go! 

I'm hard at work creating the Jam page for the next game jam, I still want to make a few example cards and also roll out a new Scenario that I'm excited to try - but in the spirit of the slapdash and kitbash energy of Basic TCG I'll share the promo image now! I'm hoping that some folks will jump into the discord and can help me out with some of these example cards and get our collective brains all sparked up!
